How do I use my insurance cover for treatment at SEON Vision?

If you plan to use private medical insurance to cover your consultation, investigation tests, or treatment, you’ll need to contact your insurer before booking to confirm your eligibility and obtain your pre-authorisation code.

Contact your insurer to confirm exactly what is covered under your policy.

Share your pre-authorisation code with our patient care team — this is usually required to secure your appointment.

After your initial consultation, we will confirm your recommended treatment and help you clarify what your policy will cover and any potential shortfalls for your treatment*.

*The fee for any consultation or procedure will be collected from your insurance provider. Please note that medical insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company. Settlement of your account remains your responsibility and you will be liable for any shortfall in fees (e.g. policy excess).

Cataract Package Pathways

In collaboration with our insurance partners, SEON Vision offers cataract surgery packages which typically cover a standard monofocal lens.  Should you wish to explore premium lenses such as Toric (for correction of astigmatism) or multifocal/trifocal/EDOF (to gain a full range of vision and spectacle independence), please discuss this with your Consultant at your initial appointment.

If you have any queries or would like to book an appointment, then please contact us.
